It is a set of celadon barus, begging bowls for Buddhist monks. These are characterized by a flat bottom, a slightly sloped wall, and an upright top body. One engraved line encircles the lip, and the inner surface is decorated with peony and arabesque patterns. The glaze is evenly painted, and some spots are darker than the rest. The artifact was wiped out of the glaze at the ground plane of the flat foot and supported with four fireproof clay doughs for firing (This artifact was stacked with Taean 8397, 8398, and 8399 when excavated.).
