This is a statue of Bodhisattva with a coronal, closing the eyes softly and smiling. This type of statue is estimated to be a portable religious object. It had been varnished with lacquer, much of which was peeled off. Although the thrown-wide arms disappeared, the overall shape remains relatively well. The face, body, and upper arms were carved out of a log, and both hands and feet were separately made and attached.
