Made at the Longquan Kiln, located in Zhejiang Province, China, this vase looks similar with the ones made at the government-run kilns during the Southern Song Period. This type of celadon had been popular until the Yuan Dynasty. Many of the porcelains found on the Sinan Shipwreck are celadon with phoenix or fish-dragon shapes on their handles. This vase is also adorned with fish-dragon handles on both sides of its neck, enhancing its dignity. Its mouth is hemispherical, while the body beneath the long beck is cylindrical. All the parts, except the base side, are thickly coated with the greenish buncheong glaze.
